We are excited to share the great news! Agnieszka Chacinska has been elected to be a member of the German National Academy of Sciences Leopoldina, a classical scholarly society that originated in 1652. This distinction has been given to only four Polish scientists before, and Agnieszka is the first elected Polish female member.
The objectives of the Leopoldina include representing the German scientific community internationally and providing policymakers and the public with science-based advice.
