Today we are celebrating Rare Disease Day.
There are over 7,000 rare diseases which impact over 300 million people all around the world. Among these conditions are mitochondrial diseases – early degenerations which occur inside the cell. To overcome them is a challenge for scientists and doctors alike. At IMol, we aim to combat the diseases through molecularly targeted therapies.
