Great news from EMBO! The research concept of our colleague Dr. Karolina Szczepanowska, who leads the Laboratory of Metabolic Quality Control in IMol Polska Akademia Nauk, has been appreciated by this prestigious European organization. Karolina has received a grant to continue her research on interdependence of the OXPHOS system with keeping of cancer cells.
Her findings could be a breakthrough in biological research and have an impact on the development of effective therapies for patients.
